Contrary to what the name would have you believe, an alembic is not a fancy style of beer, although it is related to alcoholic beverages. An alembic is an alchemical still, used specifically for distilling, that consists of two vessels connected by a tube. Using the powers of heat and condensation, it distills liquids easily in a very fun, small-scale fashion. Alembics are also an ancient version of the pot still, which is what is used in modern times to make distilled beverages like vodka, gin, or whiskey. Of course, it doesn’t have to be used to make alcohol, but it’s way cooler if you do.

Scent Notes: Sweet pumpkin souffle dotted with marshmallows and drizzled with buttery maple syrup. Tuberose wafts through the open front door.
