In the Wheel of the Year, Yule (or Midwinter) is the second sabbat, where rituals are performed to welcome the return of the sun after the encroachment and darkness of winter. It’s celebrated on the winter solstice, also known as the darkest day of the year. Burning Yule logs, feasting, and/or bringing in sprigs of greenery, or full trees, to decorate the home are very common elements of the celebration (sound familiar?). We designed this scent to smell like a full-on forest of trees decorated with real fruit garlands and other classic winter scents like toasted hazelnut, sugar plums, and vanilla. So gather round and celebrate the darkest days of the year while you remember that the light is on its way back to us all.
Scent Notes: Cedar and fir trees covered in garlands of orange, cranberry, and clove, toasted hazelnut, warm vanilla, and sweet sugar plums.
