There seemed to be an influx of scary horror movies, shows, and books directed toward children, and almost zero adult supervision. Combine those two things and you had things like a TV show hosted by an animated dead guy who was telling scary stories to kids, based on an adult version of the same, non-animated concept. Who approved of this? Why? Was there really a gap in the market for a show of that caliber? Were kids watching the non-animated version (yes) and clamoring for their own watered-down version? We somehow doubt that! We couldn’t have a collection about nightmarish pop culture memories from our childhood without mentioning this guy, who may or may not still haunt our dreams to this day!

Scent Notes: A musty crypt: bitter, salty air, fungus, fresh dirt from the graveyard, jasmine and indole, blood, black oud.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0216/4126/5216/files/Who_Greenlit_a_Dead_Guy_Telling_Stories_to_Children.png?v=1759884324
