  • Description
Many perfumers have attempted to recreate the scent of Marie Antoinette’s famous perfume over the years, because apparently, it smelled *that* good. Perfumers with Actual Training at Proper Amazing Perfume Schools have called their creations lovely things, like Sillage de la Reign (loosely, Scent of the Queen). We, however, could never claim to know what we're doing, so our interpretation translates to "Scent of the Opposum." Think Marie Antoinette at the height of her infamy: deluxe, floral, feminine, expensive, outrageous. Blend that with absolutely not taking yourself too seriously (hi), and you've got our Sillage de la Sarigue. Have your cake and eat it, too, but maybe don’t flaunt it in the faces of the lower class and then get your head chopped off? Dial it back just enough to enjoy yourself but not at the expense of others, maybe? Good plan.
