For a variety of reasons (often conflicting, most based on Medieval traditions) plums have become associated with Christmas, and specifically, decadent Christmas desserts. While we won’t bore you with all of the details (though seriously, the less meat and bread crumbs in a dessert, the better, in our opinion), we appreciate the aroma of a plum beautifully poached in red wine and spices. Who doesn’t want to smell that delicious during the holiday season, or all year round?
Scent Notes: Ripe plums poached in rich merlot wine and spices: nutmeg, ginger, clove, cinnamon, cardamom, coriander, and anise, rounded out with warm vanilla and amber.
