Description
Have you heard of Mad Honey? It’s a specific type of honey made when bees pollinate rhododendron flowers, which naturally contain a collection of toxins that are then passed into the honey the bees make. Due to the process of how honey is made, the toxins become more potent in the final product, resulting in Mad Honey. It’s the rarest honey that can cause hallucinations and mild sedation and is used for its alleged medicinal properties, but of course, taking too much of anything toxic can have some extremely bad side effects (you can probably guess what they are). It also has a more bitter taste than regular honey, probably because of those damn rhododendrons.
Scent Notes: Rich, sticky honey, sandalwood and black hickory, a shot of whiskey.
