Lodestone

What, exactly, is a lodestone? Well, strictly speaking, it’s a naturally magnetized piece of the mineral magnetite. They’ve been used for ages as part of navigation, and it’s very possible that the first compass was created with a lodestone and a small iron needle. Pretty neat, right? They’re also considered loving stones, because, as natural magnets, they’re said to draw people and energy to them. They must be handled with great care, and used with only the purest of intentions. Lodestone will draw people to you, so use it wisely.
