This scent is not in my typical fragrance category of sweets and gourmands, but I decided to try it out anyway. My first impression is that it smells like all the notes melded together, and interestingly, the gasoline note is so much like regular gasoline, like when you're pumping your car full of it and you catch a whiff and the scent seems to stay in your nose for a bit. This scent has that same quality, albeit witn other notes like vanilla bean to tone it down. This one is interesting, to say the least, and a pretty nice fragrance as well!
Lovely, feminine but floral. The vanilla isn't overly sweet and the overall effect is clean

Sucreabeille has the BEST team, period. I know how hard customer service can be (I help people apply for services) and truely believe in celebrating when someone gets it right. Suc has the sauce, the rizz, the magic, the whatever you want to call it. Now, this scent 😍 ummm the gasoline hits first, and just like actual gasoline evaporates, this dries down allowing the antique lace crocheted by your grandma, and her books in her library to come to the party and then grams wrapped that up with a bit of fresh vanilla bean for good measure. It smells just like my great great great grandma's house (the farmstead) when she made ice cream.
Unusual fragrance -- I did not find the elements suggested by the description(s), but it resembles nothing I own/wear (generally: Penhaligons, Floris, Geo. Trumper). Oddly enough (undermining what I just said), it is faintly resonant with a highly attenuated Eurcris (Trumper) -- a third cousin, not a sibling. But the marketing, and quality/price ratio -- that's what will keep me coming back. Packaging: fun and fabulous. Please don't grow/scale so much that you lose your quirk.

Admittedly, I ordered the sample because of the name, and vanilla blends well with my skin. Didn't care for it when it arrived, so it sat for quite a while. When I finally tried it, wow! I love it! It's soft, feminine, powdery. There's an interesting twist that must be the gasoline. I'm new to fragrances, so that's a guess. Whatever it is, I like it and ordered a rollerball immediately. When I first tried this one I did not like it. I tried again several months later and I’m still not a huge fan. Something in it doesn’t work with my skin chemistry. It’s a shame because it sounds lovely. It’s dusty, stuffy, old room on me.
This scent is a prime example of how you shouldn’t always trust how something smells in the bottle. I got a sample of this years ago with one of my first Suc purchases, took a sniff, and passed it on to a friend (I am anti-gasoline smells). I just got it as a sample again, and tried just a smidge—it blossomed into something soft, feminine, and gently flirtatious (without a hint of gassy-no-no-wrong). I may need to get a large size of this for those days when I want to feel like a vintage boudoir photo.
I didn’t really like it. Definitely gasoline but not like at the gas station if you know what I mean. A slight sweet and bitter scent. I think antique lace describes it well. not sure about the old books. Demeter has an “old books” that smells exactly like an old library and books. It got better with time but reminded me if violets.
I love this scent SO much! The vanilla and gasoline pair amazingly well. The vanilla cuts the gasoline and the gasoline makes the vanilla less sugary sweet. The old book smell is comforting and ties a lovely bow on top. For some reason, I had it in my head that this sent had retired and was really upset because it's so perfect on my skin. I'd stopped wearing it as often (to save it haha) and I miss it being my signature scent. I'm so excited to see that it's still for sale that I'm buying another large bottle today!
I don’t remember why I ordered the sample size of arsenic, but I’m so glad I did. It’s my absolute favorite and I even went on to order the larger bottle. It’s a soft, feminine scent, powdery and light. Love it so much!

I hated how this smelled out of the bottle. But was shocked at how much I love it on my skin. It is very powder and floral forward on my skin. It reminds me of an old lady in the best way possible.

It's what the sheets smelled like when you slept in grandmas big fluffy doilie and lace covered bed that always seems so huge then,or those little soaps she always kept in her dresser drawers to keep everything smelling fresh..maybe the antique lace being the sent that stands out most for my skin... This is the first Suc scent I fell in love with. It smells kind of dusty, yet clean. It transports me back to one of my favorite childhood sensory memories of the closeout store in my hometown where they sell tons of odd fabrics. My partner says, "it smells like something that came out of an attic," to which I say, "yes, exactly, that's why I love it!"

In the bottle I got a mostly sweet scent. The vanilla, most likely, and something else... I think gasoline is the closest description I can get. On my skin, It was an overwhelming amount of vanilla and powder. I didn't get the gas scent :(
I can’t stop buying your oils. They are truly unique. I thought libertine was my favorite but this may have topped it. It starts with what smells like a nightly floral bloom and slowly the vanilla smell enters the picture. The kick of the gasoline would never be something I’d think of adding but it’s so subtle and makes the vanilla a little tougher and smokier. Wear it everyday. ❤️

My sister bought me this last Christmas because I had mentioned to her once that I wanted it, without ever actually smelling it, but honestly, I was so so happy with it. Now I genuinely can't smell the gasoline at all, but I know some others could, but regardless I didn't mind. The best way to describe this scent is a library with some hints of cherry jolly rancher. It sounds odd but genuinely it's amazing, I love love it and I want to buy it again, since mine is almost out, or at least keep the bottle because I love the scent so much.

This scent has a strong soapy, powdery note. And unfortunately that's what seemed to come out the most on me. In the bottle, there's a sweet, fruity scent- like melons? That dissipates within maybe a minute after application though. I really don't get much of the vanilla on me which was disappointing. It is quite a soft scent so perhaps it's the vanilla that rounds it out. I get the gasoline a VERY little bit. If I hadn't already known it was in there, I would never have picked that up. It's really strong on the soapy, powdery scent which I assume is the antique lace. I assumed from the description musk would be a key note in the scent, but hadn't anticipated that it would be quite so strong. This one ended up not being to my taste. I was hoping for a warmer vanilla with a gasoline kick, but unfortunately that's not how it wore on me and honestly I'm not sure that's what the scent is at all, regardless of skin chemistry. Still, it was definitely a fun scent to try and I really enjoy Sucreabeille and their brand. I'd recommend giving it a try if you're interested!

I ordered this with my first sampler pack almost a year ago and liked it, but it ended up getting put on the shelf and sat. It was a bit heavy on the vanilla at the time (which isn't a bad thing at all), but the last year has aged it beautifully! It now holds a lot of the almost musky scent of an antique store and I love it. That soft muskiness of old paper mixed with the sharp gasoline note is just amazing. I still get a bit of the vanilla when it dries down and it compliments the other notes so much that it's becoming my new favorite (sorry Strangeling!)
