It’s a musky soap type of scent. It’s not bad, but if you want a honey scent, Imperial Queen is much nicer.

Such a lovely honey scent. Dark and thick.
I LOVE this fragrance! It really does smell like honey dripping in a room smokey with resin and incense. It smells like the song Rhiannon. It smells like that scary friend who always has your back. I love how confident I feel when I wear it!
Such a deep and complex scent I love it! When I first spray the honey is overpowering but in about 10 mins it fades and the other notes come out. The dry down on this is amazing and lasts and lasts!! So good.
I'm absolutely in love with this perfume! I'll be completely honest though, right out of the bottle it smells soooo bad on me lol but as it mingles with my ph and settles in it becomes total magic and I can't stop sniffing my wrist! I would 100% recommend to anyone that wants to smell like one of those magic hippy stores, seriously the best smell!
Black Honey...this one has my Death Note, but God I love the dry down. Sultry. But the initial application smells like an oud went to the bathroom on me.

Black Honey was everything I wanted and more, absolutely perfect perfect perfect. I love the warmth and richness of it, and how the scent clings long after I put it on- I work long hours so I’m out of the house from sun up to sun down and even once I’m finally back home I can smell it on my wrists and in my hair. Thank you!
At first I couldn't decide whether or not I liked this one. I can be iffy with sweet scents, and this is VERY strong and so sweet it was off-putting until it had a chance to set and balance out. But it improved remarkably after letting it sit for a few weeks. It's still quite sweet and just as strong, but the dragonsblood comes through more, which is what I was hoping for, and the patchouli helps to balance out the sweetness. It's now one of my favorite scents! I'm glad it's strong too because it lasts longer than most of my other EDPs.
Got Black Honey as a mystery vial and ordered a rollerball immediately. It’s sweet, rich, and complex. On my skin it eventually simmers down into a warm patchouli and rosewood with a lingering hit of honey. I often put a little on before bed because I love how I smell when I wake up!
Black honey is one of my absolute favs. The honey and dragonsblood and heavy in the beginning but the die down to the patchouli and vanilla notes lasts all day. It also pairs well when layered with other Suc scents. It reminds me of summers and being a teenager, running wild. Will buy again and again.
Love Black Honey. It is my favorite honey scent. Used up my 10ml roll on and then bought the full bottle. Of all the Suc scents I have, this is the one I use most. I will buy again when I run out!
This scent is just not me. It reminds me of a more mature woman scent .. kinda like Chanel 5 or Elizabeth Taylor white diamonds. The ladies at Suc are allowing me To return which is awesome.
The scent in my package was overpowered by this one. It smelled powdery but not the nasty old lady powdery. It smells odd in the vial, BUT once you try it out with your skin’s pH it changes so give it a whirl first before ya decide it’s not for you! I initially bought this as it was recommended to me on Reddit as a replacement for my 1920 rollerball from Besame Cosmetics. It doesn’t quite replace it because this is a much heavier and warm fragrance than 1920. Nonetheless it does have that smoky smell to it that brings on the speakeasy vibes. On me personally it presented as a stronger patchouli scent but not strong enough to where it was cloying. On the fence for this one, but it does smell yummy! I’m going to let it rest for the appropriate 2 weeks before trying it again and deciding whether or not to purchase a bigger vial! It does last ~5hrs on me whereas the other sample vials (Heart’s Blood and Blood Lust) I bought last ~4hrs on me.
I wanted to love this so badly. Unfortunately it is not for me. I think I'd like this as an incense or on someone else. I do love other Suc scents, so I know it's not made bad just not for me.
Black Honey is rich, warm, sensual, exotic, irresistible. It is my favorite so far, and probably the one I wear most. I wasn't expecting to fall in love with it, but oh yes. I'll be getting a bigger bottle soon.

Black Honey is a very complex fragrance. The sweet honey is layered with darker notes, that make it mysterious. Lovely and long lasting.

Black Honey is a Sucreabeille must-have. If you’re an incense fan, grab hold—the dragon’s blood resin is to die for. Black Honey is massive. It’s a fragrance for a scene, and it took me 2 months with a sample to become comfortable in wearing it on my person. The first time I smelled it, it was strong, yummy, medicinal. This is not Winnie the Pooh’s honey. This is a witch’s honey, dark and resinous and made out in the forest. If you’re into dark scents, give Black Honey a chance.

Ive bought black honey 3x now. 2 roller balls and 1 of the largest size and im so in love with it. I get compliments everywhere I go and my boyfriend loves it. It also lasts forever (it stays on my scarf until I wash it again)

I got this sample from the monthly membership and oh my god. Its cat pee. I have 8 cats, I know what cat pee smells like when you try to clean it with cleaner and this is that
I had to let this one sit for months, but it's a stinker on me. Something about this scent with my body chemistry makes it go so sour. It pulls like urine and is very screechy on me, unfortunately. I think its the honey? I agree with the review that says it would be a good incense and definitely has that crystal shop vibe, but doesn't work on me. Try at your own risk, I would recommend you know how honey transforms on your skin.
I know some people find this fragrance difficult but hear me out. I can understand why some may feel the dry down has an off-putting odor. On one hand, I can agree but... with my body chemistry it somehow works! I love the patchouli note and the subtle sweetness that plays on my skin. This scent has fabulous staying power and doesn't smell like anything else I own. Unique for sure.

I agree with so many of the other reviews. You have to give this one some time. In the bottle and on immediate application the scent is…a lot. But the dry down is lovely, strong but not overwhelming. If you wanna smell like a groovy hippie store, this is the scent for you!
This might be my new favorite! Honey is my favorite note and my go to for perfumes but the dragon's blood really stands out in this one. Honey and incense... love it!
Unfortunately, this one gives very heavy notes of Magic Marker and cat pee for me and it reminds me of my days of cleaning the hospital histology lab. Eventually it mellows out to more of the vanilla and patchouli but I can’t get past the initial eye-watering death note, which is weird because it’s not all that different of a scent profile from Goth. As. Fuck., and that one works pretty well on my skin, but Black Honey and my skin chemistry do not get along.

Like other scents, you may want to let this one sit for awhile before you use it, or it'll be too strong. Even after letting it sit, it's a little intimidating for me, but when I actually put it on it's amazing. It transported me to an aromatherapy shop I visited in Eureka Springs, it was so peaceful. Not necessarily what I imagined with the name of the scent, but I love it. It lasts so, so long and seemed to get better throughout the day.
