    • Have you heard of Mad Honey? It’s a specific type of honey made when bees pollinate rhododendron flowers, which naturally contain a collection of toxins that are then passed into the honey the bees make. Due to the process of how honey is made, the toxins become more potent in the final product, resulting in Mad Honey. It’s the rarest honey that can cause hallucinations and mild sedation and is used for its alleged medicinal properties, but of course, taking too much of anything toxic can have some extremely bad side effects (you can probably guess what they are). It also has a more bitter taste than regular honey, probably because of those damn rhododendrons.

Mad Honey is a very interesting scent. Like if a beehive could thrive in an underground whiskey bar before returning to a field of flowers. Very nice.

I’m loving this complicated mix. There’s honey, so much honey, a complicated aged bourbon, not too much sandalwood. It’s a fantastic scent for a humid summer night.

Mad Honey

Mad Honey did not work for me, kinda broke my heart because I was so looking forward to it! I have all the other honeys, and love them, but this one went blech on my skin. Like chemical awfulness. Fortunately my bestie liked it a lot and it smelled good on her, so she's got a new scent in her quiver - and it was nearly bestie day!
