I tried Nightshade in a sample size and immediately loved it. On me it's soft and lovely and slightly powdery. I really smell the sandalwood which I love.

I got nightshade as a part of the lovely little deaths collection and I just LOVE it! for me it smells mostly like incense with something sweet that vaguely reminds me of apples in a way i just absolutely love. definitely one of my favorite scents from the lovely little deaths collection!

I got this as an extra with one of my purchases and while I was not expecting to like this scent, I actually like it a lot more than I thought I would! It has a bit of a nuttiness on my skin.

I was expecting this scent to be more spicy but it’s soft. It’s powdery like talcum powder or baby wipes, not unpleasant but not a scent I gravitate towards. Giving high marks because it smells high quality and is long lasting, so a good choice if the softer amber and sandalwood notes are what you’re looking for.

I received this in the sample size and I really wanted to like it but something didn't agree with me. It was giving me a strong nostalgia feeling and after an hour or so I realized what it smelled like. My grandfather was a whiskey drinker and a pipe/cigar smoker. I loved my drunk grandpa, but I don't really want to smell like him lol....I think I'll let it sit for a while and try again after it settles more.

Initially, I passed Nightshade over when I saw sandalwood and ylang ylang listed among its prominent scent notes. I love them both, but somehow they wind up with headache-inducing sweetness and heaviness when they hit my skin in most any formulation they’re featured in. I have to believe that the universe was watching out for me when I accidentally landed back on the Nightshade page and began reading the reviews, for whatever reason. I’ve had a lifelong love affair with Chanel 5, and when I saw another reviewer’s mention of its similarity with Nightshade I just had to give it a try. I immediately ordered the sample vial and am now back for the full-sized bottle. The above-mentioned reviewer was right. There’s a striking resemblance between Nightshade and its more expensive Chanel 5 doppelgänger, namely in the way the heady sweetness of sandalwood and ylang ylang notes is so skillfully balanced with a delicious spiciness that prevents this fragrance from drying down into a heavy, cloying mantle radiating from my skin. It’s a luxurious, exuberant scent for sure, and not something to wear when you want to fade into the background, but I love it for the same reasons I love Chanel 5: for its elevation of sandalwood and ylang ylang to something uniquely beautiful and intriguing that has a pleasant and long-lasting evolution on my skin. To be clear, Nightshade definitely isn’t a perfect dupe for Chanel 5. It’s somewhat darker and sweeter (perhaps from the whiskey notes?), whereas Chanel 5 is brighter (maybe due to the citrusy notes?) and spicier, but Nightshade is utterly wearable for the same reasons and a great money saving alternative to its luxury brand counterpart. Way to go , Suc, for keeping the intoxicating combination of sandalwood and ylang ylang balanced and in check with this long-lasting, unique, irresistible, and very wearable result. ✊🏽 👏🏽 🙌🏽

I didn't think this scent was going to be for me at first! After letting it rest though, it's amazing! It definitely smells like a soft whiskey and then delicious florals. Highly recommend!

This is becoming my go-to signature fragrance. Delicious, sexy. It sets well with my chemistry, and gently lingers. When I catch a whiff of it, I get a smile remembering that I can be both seductive and deadly. It's very exciting. Also, this doesn't give me a headache (which so many perfumes do.) This scent layers well with other scents. I tried it with Memento Mori and I'm convinced that there's a story for every scent combo with Nightshade as a base. However, my RPG character had a last name of Nightshade, so I could be a teensy bit biased. An easy scent at first, then a dose of power as it settles. Highly recommended.
