Socks and Crocs

This is one of my favorite winter scents, especially around Christmas. It has a juicy start and ends with a masculine woodsy note. I like to layer it with Krampus during the holidays for a “desserts around the Christmas tree” vibe. I initially bought a full ounce as a blind buy on the notes and realized that while I really liked it, but would only wear it seasonally, so I returned it and was thrilled to receive a roller as a mystery in my next order.

I wasn't sure what to expect with the name being what it is. The best way to describe it is prob comforting christmas. After the first few mins its soft with just a hint of christmas tree. I could Def see this as a christmas eve or solstice fragrance.

I am getting used to the fact that the more I doubt the name, the better I will like the scent. Socs and croc initially smells very strongly of pine, but it only takes like 30 seconds for it to blend into this really lovely combination. Wish it weren't sold out! I only got a ml sample!! ;)

I was worried this would smell like pine tree air freshener. It’s actually quite nice. Yes pine but also fruit and cedar. It combines well into a fresh, woodsy, scent.

Interesting smell! I couldn't for the life of me place what the scent reminded me of when I tried it on, but it DID remind me of something. In the end, I came to check out the notes (i like to blind sniff them first) and lo and behold: figs, blackcurrants, cedar. all of that mixed together was reminding me of when i lived under a fig tree surrounded by cedars as a child, with that initial sweet hit from the blackcurrants on top. not for me personally, but a lovely experience! all those notes blended together without any one taking over, and i think in this case it works well for it. not sure what pink peppercorn smells like on it's own, but i do think it added a special something to the scent.

I received Socks and Crocs as a free sample dram. It's not a bad scent, but the way it mixes with my body chemistry, it makes me smell like the Christmas wreath factory I used to work in.

Socks 'n' Crocs definitely smells like pine trees & pickle juice at first...but in a good way. After you put it on, the pickle juice goes away and it's just light pine scented. Would be nice if it were a bit stronger, but I guess I don't NEED to smell like a pine tree as I walk past people...(I just WANT to).
