Sweet like pistachio but not in a cloying way. Nutty and yummy. I ended up purchasing a full bottle!

I bought this because is sounded nice. But I'm disappointed when I sniff this for to long. It starts out with nice Tonka and deep brown sugar& baked bread goods smells, then it smells like liliac scented cleaner trying to mask cleaned up vomit in a kids school hallway along with baked goods. I'm not sure why it smells like that to me. Just does, and I'm glad I only bought a sample... .
I ordered a five perfume sampler, and Afternoon Owl was a freebie that came with it. As it turned out I loved it more than the perfumes I had picked. I don’t really get bread, but on me it starts with a warm buttery pistachio smell, and the light floral of the lilac kicks in. I love it so much I had to get a roller of it. The only reason it has 4 instead of 5 stars is that it does fade pretty quickly.
Lovely fresh scent. Very subtle. I wish it was stronger.

Afternoon Owl is a gorgeous floral scent! It instantly became a favorite of mine. And the story describes me perfectly! I never feel up to doing much "cognitive" work until close to 11am, so I'm NOT a morning person WHATSOEVER, but I'm still usually in bed by 10pm (I've got a rough job - I teach elementary students. . .) 😉 Afternoon Owl is such a beautiful, delicate, and comforting fragrance. It's a perfect signature scent to wear all year round. If you enjoy florals, give this one a try!
Afternoon Owl is such a light happy scent~ I mostly get lilac with a hint of nuttiness from the pistachio and it just feels like an embodiment of spring. I took a gamble on a full size bottle and am absolutely glad I did!
I have always loved Lilacs and after Cheese Hangover got me hooked on pistachio I knew that I has to give Afternoon Owl a shot & I am so glad I did -- mine hasn't rested yet and so I don't know if the bread scent will come out more in the future but I get a delightful floral with an undercurrent of toasted pistachio, I've had it on for about four hours & I can not stop smelling my wrist! Another wonderful concoction from the ladies of Suc!!
So I'll 100% be buying a full bottle of this scent, it's fantastic! I was a bit worried about the combination of scent notes, but I'm an absolute sucker for anything lilac, and this scent didn't disappoint. It's a very warm, cozy scent, and one of my new favorites EVER from this site.
Afternoon Owl smells exactly like the description... which unfortunately turns out to be a smell I don't like.
I definitely did NOT love afternoon owl. It did not smell anything like I had envisioned, but hey, it happens! However, you sent me a free sample of a raspberry macaron and it was DELIGHTFUL!!
I really really wanted to like this one. But it smells SO strongly of bread. I discovered of late that I do not like smelling like a baked goof of any kind. I tried it a few times, hoping the bread smell would die down, but no.
Love the name and artwork! The scent is really nice, though it didn't resonate with me as much as I thought it would. Still will add it to the rotation of my fave scents.
I received Afternoon Owl as a treat! And what a treat! A wee bit spilled in transit and the minute I opened it all I could smell was a fragrance my mom once wore. How in the world do the Suc goddesses know exactly what I needed? I can close my eyes and picture my mom wearing it. I'm crying but in a good way.
First the bottle is adorable! The owl is so pretty! It was what first caught my eye! My coworkers constantly compliment the lilac and pistachio scent notes when I wear this perfume. They say it smells like comfort
I think Afternoon Owl is quickly becoming a favorite. I keep reaching for it almost every time.
