Bezoar

According to a popular children’s book series about witchcraft, a bezoar is a stone taken from the stomach of a goat, and it will save you from most poisons (basilisk venom being the exception that proves the rule). While it would likely be super unpleasant to have to swallow (just ask Ron Weasley), if no other antidote is available, we’re fairly certain it would be worth the sore throat to be, you know, not dead from poison.
