Chloroform is intoxicating. I absolutely cannot get enough of this scent when I put it on! I will absolutely be getting a large bottle of this and apply it every chance I get! I’m absolutely captivated by this intoxicatingly fresh floral scent!

Special Note: This fragrance is not for everyone! It contains high amounts of the aromachemical indole. For some, this will result in a rich, exquisite white floral. For others, frankly, it'll smell like cat shit. Which experience you get will depend entirely on your unique skin chemistry and how the fragrance reacts. Either way, we think the bottle art is super cool.
They say chloroform doesn’t smell like anything; we beg to differ. In fact, we think it has a very specific, white floral and subtly sweet with an undertone of does-this-smell-weird-to-you? scent. But in a good way, we swear. Plus, it makes the whole “smell this and pass out unconscious” thing much less repugnant. This is a true classic white floral, with an undertone of indole, which used to be super common in white florals before everything became mainstream and boring. Some days you just need to wear something that’ll both sedate and soothe your soul (and the souls of everyone you encounter). How great would it be to have that annoying coworker who always talks just a little too loudly tell you that you smell wonderful and when you tell her you’re wearing Chloroform she just passes out in shock? Your job here is done. Thanks, Chloroform, for being such a knock-out summer scent.

It smells like black pepper on my mother, a strong vanilla on my sister, and like vanilla, gardenias, and lilly on me. Over all worth the money to bring my family together to debate what the scent is 😂.
I got this little sample of Chloroform because I HAD to know if I was going to be floral or cat poop. I was absolutely sure I was going to be poo, but was much surprised to find out that nope! Floral! This perfume smells like the decadent funeral of your thrice divorced, twice 'mysteriously' widowed, filthy rich great aunt. The whole building is downright frothy with bouquets of her favourite flowers, thick white blooms across every surface. At first it's just a little too in your face with it, but once it has time to settle it's much more pleasant.
Glad I only got a sample of this scent. Whew it makes the nostrils flare and the eyes sting. 👀
An oddly "funky"? Scent . Animalistic but floral? It makes me think of the type of perfumes people were probably making when ambergris was still legal. The scent is like of another living creature that blends with your human one. Imagine a musk deer lying in a bed of flowers.
So, I am an "indoles smell like straight cat sh!t" person, and I only know this because of this lovely freebie I got with my last purchase. It smells beautiful, but not for my chemistry! I can smell all the beautiful florals, but only from behind a pile of doo. On to the next!
I bought a bunch of small sample vials and was most excited about Chloroform. I love white florals and was keeping my fingers crossed that this wouldnt turn on me. I love it straight from the bottle and its evolution on my skin. Can't wait to smell it after a proper rest. Will definitely be buying a large bottle next time.
Let’s talk about chloroform… the litter box at my mom and dads house on a hot day after the automatic air freshener sprays rose scented spray in the bathroom… BUT … give it 5 minutes to dry down… there’s a beautiful, light, airy floral scent which I can only imagine Rihanna smells like! It is heaven on my skin! As for the others I ordered, I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA HOW THEY SMELL EXACTLY LIKE THE DESCRIPTIONS… it is insane. My mother and I were blown away! And I was sent a bunch of free samples! As much as I ordered, I got in samples of others! I’ve found my new go to shop for all the smells :)
Turn around time was faster than expected. Shipping was super quick. More important? I’m so happy this doesn’t smell like cat pee on me. This is the PERFECT floral for me. I am obsessed.

I have A LOT of Sucreabeille scents. I received Chloroform in the Lovely Little Deaths boxed collection and was super intrigued to try it. I never ordered it on its own because of the “dreaded indole poop smell”. Well... in the bottle, I smell flowers! On my skin, I smell flowers! Woo hoo! I’m a lucky “no poop” girl! So in more detail - on me it’s a soft, almost powdery floral, but like the flower is just past it’s prime. I definitely get a tropical exotic floral smell, not the average garden bloom. Will I wear it every day? Probably not (just personal taste). But I will definitely wear it and enjoy it 💜
The first time I have smelled true frangipani in 20 years. I was transported back in time to wandering through upstate New York in college...figuring out what to do with my life. 20 years later, I know...and I get to smell that way again too. ❤️ Sincerely the strangest (in a good way), haunting scent. Bravo to you.

I loved the description of this scent and HAD to find out if it would smell good or smell terrible on me! I’m pleased to say it didn’t smell terrible (that made me feel special, not gonna lie), but the scent smelled like a clean-smelling soap on me. While not terrible at all, it’s not the kind of scent I’ll wear. I left the rest of the sample with my sister and I can’t wait to find out how it smells on her. It was a fun experiment!

I really adore these perfumes. I’ve gone through three, and each one is so individually beautiful that I have a hard time picking my favorite. The scents hold all day, and adjust based on your body chemistry which is super cool. I love this company!
I love AND hate this at the same time 😂 It smells amazing... After about an hour when the indole calms down. Before that it smells like I live with a dozen cats. But if you're patient it's worth the wait!! And it pairs well with I'm a delicate f*ing flower.
Each scent I've gotten from Sucreabeille has been amazing! I love the Chloroform scent when on me, it's just before it's slightly bitter though. Still love it though!
I got this initially in the Challenging Scents sampler a few years ago. Initially it definitely had the...unpleasant note there. I let it sit for a bit and tried again. There's certainly still an animal note, but mixed with the florals, it's very sexy. I've gotten many compliments on this one, so it must mix well with my chemistry!
i never wore perfume that much, but last year i received the chloroform perfume as a gift. since then i wore it daily until i ran out. when i ran out i bought another because i really liked it :D! this is the first and only perfume that ive consistently worn. it also lasts for the majority of the day, which is really nice!
I was a little afraid to try this because who wants to smell like catshit ffs? In fact, I put it on before I went to bed in case i needed to wash it off. HOWEVER... this is soooo opulent and sensuous! I absolutely love the smell and I will be wearing it often. Beautiful scent!

Well, apparently I'm Team Cat Poop with this scent. Bummed because I bought the sample dram solely to be able to say "chloroform" if I'm ever asked what I'm wearing. Pitty no one will ever ask me why I smell like a litter box. Jeally of the rest of yous.
I ordered Chloroform as one of the scents in the variety sample pack. I typical enjoy florals and have no issue with indole smelling like a cat's litter box but there is something rancid about the notes in this to the degree where I began feeling nauseated.
Chloroform smells AMAZING. It smells like a "clean" floral on me,of that makes sense. Going to let it rest for a couple of weeks and try it again. No "Cat shit" smell for me, lol!
I adore most scents from you guys! This one...it's weird, I like almost everything, but for some reason...my nose is pickin' up poop. Like, in the bottle, even worse on me. The rest of the scent notes are divine, but I can't get past the poop. Probably just me! Ah well.
Chloroform was a freebee in one of my boxes months ago. Words for my experience FUNKY CHEESE with a slight floral to it. NOT for everyone like they say but it's OK to try new things.
I ordered this purely out of curiosity — I tend to like challenging perfumes, and more often than not they play well on my skin. In the bottle and wet on skin this is straight up feces, sharp and ammoniac, with a slight whiff of florals trying to cover it up like an airport restroom 😂 But within five minutes it became a deeply compelling white floral — I normally don’t jive with white florals, but this had me huffing my wrist every few minutes. And it *lasted*, which is also rare on my skin. I imagine I’ll go through this sample quickly, and I seriously might need a full size !
I am a lucky person! This dose not smell like poo to me or my SO. It smells like a mature, not too adolescent, not too sweet white floral. Just wonderful and balanced. All of the florals blend well together.

OK, things turn powdery on me a lot. I didn't expect poop-to-powder. Off of the skin? Poo. On the skin? Give it about five...the most intoxicating, heady floral ever. Like Stargazers when you walk by without sticking your nose in. Literally made me high. Five minutes later? Powder. Even tested with my SO's nose. Poop-to-powder. What a rollercoaster! If I could preserve the middle stage, I'd never leave the house, but I have no idea why things besides citrus, cucumber, and grass always go to weird powder on me!
Ok, so when I opened the vial and initially put it on I smelled flowery litter box. 😂 I figured oh well. But I was in the car and didn’t have a way to wash it off. Well, after a twenty minute drive and time to dry down all that was left was the best white floral I’ve ever smelled, so...guess I just need to give it time! What a fun game of roulette.
