The front porch and pathway were lined with pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns of all sizes and colors. The leaves on the lawn had not been raked and formed a thick, crunky blanket on the path and grass. There were multiple cauldrons, one absolutely billowing with smoke, and the table was full of potion bottles with labels bearing words like “poison,” “eye of newt,” “cat’s whiskers,” and “bat blood,” among others. I'm a perfume collector, and a devout pagan. I was not at all attracted to coven. I let it sit for a couple weeks before trying it. I don't hear anything about this shop, so there's really no proper descriptions and point of views on each fragrance out there that go into detail about the smells your shop has to offer. I wish there was an affordable sample pack with tiny little viles, as I'm worried about blind buying after how much I disliked coven. I would definitely like to try some of the others you have available, but for that price point, and the fact that there's simply not enough people talking about your fragrances. I will say one great thing is that the perfume lasted over 24 hours. That's always impressive.
Another freebie that I fully expected to hate when I smelled it in the bottle. But I read the literature and gave it a try anyway. 😲 after five minutes to settle it bloomed into an enchanting and alluring scent I am fully addicted to.
Came way sooner than I thought it would but thats probably because I also live in Washington hahaha. The smells are just so amazing!!! For 2 people that is sensitive so perfumes me and my mom dont react to these which is even better!!
I ordered Coven around September, as the scent notes looked like it'd be my favorite scent, unfortunately it was not as expected. Upon arrival it gave me an immediate migraine that left me needing to wash it off, so I shoved it in the corner of my cabinet in hopes to forget it until it "settled" as the directions stated.
I finally found it again and brought it back out, and It's less pumpkin spice (which is totally fine!) but also not as expected. I was thinking of a walk in a cool, dark forest but was hit with grandma's couch instead.
It does have that "autumnal leaves" feel about it, but it's also more of "grandma's house filled with distinct 'old lady' perfume (seriously, remember those old Avon smells everyone wore??) or a thrift store that's covered in dust.
It's not a horrible scent, but I'd love more of the Earthy vibes! I'd call this Grandma's Coven if anything (which is luckily still my vibe! My kids call me an old hag so it works, but might not be for everyone, so be warned!) it's also strong so if you're sensitive to scents, a little goes a LONG way!
At first smelled like Vicks and random jumbled strong herb scents. Later aged into Basil and something spicy yet refreshing. Smells like an expensive cologne after put on the skin that smells ok. There's definitely better scents to try in Sucreabille.
Got this one as a free sample. Wasn't super impressed on arrival, but I let it rest a bit and it's very nice! Spicy and herby in the bottle, smells a bit woodsy and sweet on my skin. Super excited to try more sucreabeille scents!
Finally gave in after hearing the ad on Old Gods of Appalachia and I’m so glad I did! The scents are delightful, the stories are mesmerizing, and the FB group is a hoot! It’s lovely to smell the scents develop while they rest. Can’t want to order more!
I got a dram as a free sample for signing up for e-mails. I loved it so much I bought another on my next order. It's a warm fall scent, that is hard to describe. This is going to be a staple of mine for sure, it's my absolute favorite.
I ordered 5 samples and got a free Coven! Loved, and I do mean LOVED, every single one of them, except Sagittarius (which I just didn’t care for), and Fresh Out Of Fucks, which I couldn’t smell at all. Ordered 5 more for my Mothers Day gift from my son. Amazing!!!! All 5 of them. So, 10 out 12 were amazing. Will definitely order again!
This smells AMAZING. Smoky and complex and so very witchy. I love it. I didn't love it out of the bottle, but once it bloomed on my skin, ohhhhhhh God! So good. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because it just doesn't last (I tried the perfume oil). I do wonder if layering eau de parfum and perfume oil would make a difference and intend to try that. As an extra note--I tried layering vanilla perfume oil with Coven, and I loved that even more. Perhaps Sucreabeille would consider making a Full Moon Coven or other variation of Coven with vanilla added!
Got Coven as a free sample and I was pleasantly surprised! to me it smells like an old book store I used to frequent when I was a teen complete with the smell of candle wax, worn books, and faded incense
I received this one as a free sample. At first it just smelled like good olive oil in the bottle, but I left it in a cool dark place for a couple weeks as instructed and the best spicy herbal scents came to life. It’s like wearing a hug from your grandma on Thanksgiving when she’s been elbow deep in preparing all your favorite foods that morning.
It’s probably weird, but I put it on in the evening, it’s comforting.
I just wanna add a clerification to my first review. I thought i was the first one to review it, but found out later that i am not. Upon the writing of my initial review, i did not realize that the full bottle of "coven" was retired. Later, i saw it was reviewed by others. And now, the full size is back. I am so excited cuz i love this scent. My apologies though to the first reviewer and all the reviewers that came before me. I hope everyone has a great day and upcoming halloween!!🤗

Coven is highly complex, medium to dark base smell. The herbs and spices come out like little bits of magic popping molecules, at first coniferous in nature. Then comes the sassafrass, in all its glory. If you have ever drank a good birch beer soda, which is similar to root beer, but with more emphasis on the wintergreen...this is what Coven smells like. But with so many complex smells all at once, which is what i like. This is definitely a special perfume and one of my favorites!!🤗🤩
