I'm actually very surprised at my results with Fortune Favors the Bold. I've tried it multiple times for the past few months. I guess I'm the odd one out because for me I get no citrus at all. For me, it's pomegranate and hemlock with a touch of tea at the edges. It reminds me of my Mom's perfume from the early 90s but better and cozy-er. Wouldn't buy it for myself again but I may see if my Mom wants a trip down memory lane.
I like this scent - I'm a big fan of fruits and citrus in general. This one is lighter than most, and doesn't stay as long, but it's nice for casual evenings.
Ironically not a very bold scent. Pleasant, but subtle, and don’t last long. A low key scent for when you don’t want anyone to notice you’re wearing perfume. It’s a citrusy scent for those who think la croix has too much flavor.
I couldn't decide between this one or another scent when I was shopping. What compelled me was the name. Fortune favors the Bold. Reminds me of fortune favors the brave - a song from the musical Aida. So I listened to the song and got the perfume. The scent itself is intriguing. The spices mentioned a mild, there just enough for flavor. It feels dark like a wood but retains some citrus feel. And let's not forget the best part, it's a great unisex scent.
I’m wearing Fortune Favors the Bold today. I love it! The citrus notes make it smell fresh and uplifting, but the hemlock and Tibetan tea are grounding. It makes me feel pretty, even though I’m wearing jeans and a rather beat-up t-shirt.
I had been considering Fortune Favors the Bold and then it was gifted to me. I am so happy with it. On me it has a lovely, subtle mix of fresh and spicy. My main complaint about Twilight Witch is that the scent fades over time but this one has staying power, making it my new favorite. Also—the name is an added bonus, giving me a little boost of confidence every time I put it on.
Good, bright, citrus scent. Summery, fruity, but after it settles I get a metallic/blood/meat scent that I’m not sure I like. It’s strange because nothing in it should smell like that. I think this one doesn’t work with my chemistry.

I have a clean fresh signature scent that I wear daily from another perfumer but wanted to find a summer fragrance to layer with it to be more seasonal and FORTUNE FAVORS THE BOLD is EXACTLY what I was looking for!! It's fresh, bright, bold and compliments my body chemistry perfectly. It POPS My scent profile to life everytime I put it on❤️.. I'll be back soon to find a fall laying fragrance...
It’s a great scent in the bottle, bright and fruity and citrusy but when I put it on it turns darker, still sweet but has more of those earthy notes, it doesn’t smell the best on me, while I like the way it develops, it doesn’t really fit well, overall great scent but just drys down badly. Will prob try again in a few weeks to see if that helps though bc I love the way it smells in the bottle
This scent smells very light but also balanced and sweet. I usually wear a lot of leather scents so this is out of my element in a good way. I just wish it had a longer wear time, it doesn't take it long and it smells really faint.
The only perfume from Suc that I don't want to mix with anything else. Citrus, spice, sweet, bright, earthy. Well balanced scent.
