I received this 10 ml rollerball from Sucreabeille a few weeks ago. Didn’t think I’d like it. Rosewood. Whiskey. Gunpowder. Tobacco. Amber Its actually really well blended and feels soft and protective at the same time. I've been wearing it the most to really get a feel for it. It might actually be one of my favorites. Turns out “terrifying” is just what they call women who survive.
I like this scent better as a perfume than as a hair oil or buttercream lotion. I feel like in the EDP base it leans less amber and gives less of a cocoa butter vibe, it stays more woody. My mom *loves* it in the buttercream lotion base though, so to each their own :) This was my first Suc EDP spray bottle (as opposed to rollerball or dram) and I have to say, I really love having the spray. I'll be on the lookout for more of my favs in 10ml sprays now.
This is such a good scent, it has a sweet richness, thats followed by a little smokey feel. The size is perfect to throw in your purse, or while traveling you don't have to worry about a bulky bottle.
So rich, strong, and sweet!! I may not truly come from a long line of terrifying women, but I may damn well start one!!
As you can see from this well-worn bottle, this is hands down my favorite scent from Sucreabeille. Ever. Smells so rich and alluring with a faint powdery note that I absolutely love. Of this scent I've bought both the perfume oil and the eau de parfum spray and honestly the oil is a million times better. They're both amazing, but the oil smells truly incredible.

There is a reason the label looks chipped and tatty- this bottle lives with me. In my handbag, in my pocket, wherever I go. I finally found the scent of me as a person: dark laughter, darker humor, a touch of hard liquor, a lot of really frightening women distilled down into me. I am consistently stopped when wearing this scent to be asked: what are you wearing and are you a witch? I cackle, watch the alarm in their eyes, and give them a link to the website if they don't run.
I don't have a picture of the product but I still want to leave a review. I was given a 10ml rollerball as a gift in my most recent order, and knew almost right away that it was meant for someone very special to me. I tried it before wrapping it for her, and this is my thoughts. When this person and I were teenagers we started our paths into witchcraft. This scent brought back memories of our candles, incense and herbs. I only hope that when I give this to her it brings her back to the same place, and reminds her of where our roots are. I'm about to order a bottle for myself! This one is truly special.

Can you tell how much I LOVE this scent??? If you look in the very corner, you will see just a teensy bit left. I'm trying to make it last until my next order. I find it impossible to find scents I like in make-up stores or perfume counters (too sweet, too generic, too bleh!). But at Suc, I'm like a kid in a candy shop. Where do I begin. The scent profile had me immediately intrigued. I have to admit, whisky, smoke, tobacco (think rich and herbal--not at all like cigarettes!)--these are all scents I love to smell on my hubby. Turns out, he really likes to smell them on me too! (A lot!) This scent screams "seduction." It's heady and relaxing all at once. At first, I saved it for "special" occasions. Now it is my go-to. I'm trying other scents, but please don't ever discontinue this one!

I love how each scent opens new doors for me. I used to only like sweet B&BW body sprays. Sucreabeille has opened up a world of scent profiles for me. With this one, I can smell the mixture of amber with a slight undertone of the gun powder. It is absolutely wonderful to say the least.

I purchased this sample a long side Blood Line. They have similar scent profiles but this one is a bit sweeter and lighter. It's not a bad scent by any means just not as strong as I'd like.

Please ignore the broken finger. This perfume smells wonderful! In the bottle, it smells spicy and mildly aggressive. My skin, however, turns it sweet. A softer scent without losing the original notes. A very nice tiny sample.
I'll be honest. I bought "I Come From a Long Line of Terrifying Women" because of the name. I'm very happy that I love the scent, and my partner does, too! Because of the shipping constraints, I intended my purchase to be for an August birthday. To my surprise, it shipped almost immediately, and instead it became a 14th anniversary gift. Scarlet is truly a terrifying woman, and now she smells like it :) Outside of Tom Robbin's "Jitterbug Perfume", I've had very little interest in the scent industry. Sucrabeille made it fun. I might be their least likely fan, but a fan I am. Thanks, Sucrabeille!

When I opened the rollerball at first I was like “uh oh, I’m not sure if I like it.” But I put it on anyway and damn. I am so glad I did that! It’s amazing how much it changes on my skin and once it dries down it changes again and I am obsessed now. Just ordered another 10ml rollerball. Everyone I show loves it and loves the name. Please keep this one forever!
Letting this scent sit for a couple weeks changed it drastically, both in bottle and on me. I like it a lot but it’s a little too powdery smelling for me once it dries down to probably buy a larger bottle. Maybe it will grow on me the more I wear it.
My favorite besides Winterdeep. Ordering one for my daughter and one for me. Spicy, warm, just delicious smelling.
I was not exactly sober when I placed my order and accidentally set it to ship to my work!😳 Luckily, the customer service at Suc made sure I didn't have to have an awkward conversation with my boss and got it set to my home address. Oh and all the scents are amazing.
I found Suc by listening to old gods of Appalachia, and I honestly wasn’t overly interested in this scent, though it’s often mentioned in their old gods ads. But by using an old gods redemption code, I was able to get a bottle to try (with the help of a lovely customer service person- I had some trouble using the code), and I love it. This scent is a little hard to explain, kinda deep and heavy, but under tones that are floral and almost rose like bring it up a bit. Overall it’s very pleasing to catch a whiff of throughout the day, and I’m very pleased with it. By far my favorite so far of the 6 scents I’m trying

I absolutely love this fragrance! I Come From a Long Line of Terrifying Women makes me feel like a badass. It’s feminine, but with a dark side—like a femme fatale in a 1940s movie who’ll seduce a man, rescue a baby from kidnappers, rob a bank, then ride off in a pink convertible Cadillac. It’s a delightful mixture of musky, floral, and mysterious. One of my top two, along with Blood and Bone. 🖤

I bought this item as part of a sample group and tried it yesterday. I absolutely loved it, and really didn't want to try the other scents because I just wanted to stay with this one. There's a spice that comes out on me like maybe it's a carnation base? I don't know what it is, but there's a combination of spice and earth and musk that also has a touch of powder as it stays on my skin, and it just works beautifully with my chemistry. I'm a post-menopausal woman who has found that a lot of scents I used to wear are now sour. It's so nice to find something that works.
Gave these fragrances to our very beautiful daughter for Christmas. She needed a fun gift 🎁 as she was facing putting her beloved German Shepherd down the next weekend. She loved the names, of course, but also raved about the scents. Score!!

OK Suc, you got me again. I've been curious about this scent for a long time. Mostly I thought the name was funny, but I also thought the scent notes sounded interesting, so I had to finally try a 1 mL sample vial, and I loved it so much that I ended up getting a 1 oz bottle. Why would I want to smell like whiskey, gunpowder, and tobacco, I asked? Because it smells like this. Those smoky notes blend beautifully with the florals, capturing something glamorous that I can't quite put my finger on. This is the essence of a beautiful woman with big hair who's a pro at smoking cigarettes. This is how I imagine Dolly Parton smells. Does she smoke? I don't even know.

I only wish there was a way to choose metal roller balls instead of plastic. Only particular because the plastic rollers scratch my skin.
