The winter solstice is nearly upon us, so let’s celebrate with this scent designed with the darkest day in mind. This blend is mulled wine, aka the best winter drink, in a bottle. Notes of decadent red wine and mulling spices with a hint of sweetness will relax you and soothe your mood no matter how dark it is outside. There’s always time for a cocktail.
Scent Notes: A big glass of merlot, cinnamon sticks, freshly grated nutmeg, cedarwood, pure honey, frankincense, myrrh, sweet sugar plums.
This is not a scent I would have ever considered. It doesn’t have any of my usual scent notes in it, but I got it as a free rollerball on one of your amazing sale stacking tiers.
Frankly, I have been reaching for it past the ones I purchased. lol it’s so warm and comfortable smelling…. Like a warm berry hug.
I find that I really appreciate the freebies and sales because it gets me out of my scent comfort zone and I find such wonderful scents I’d never think to try.
This smelled like mulled wine but more balanced. Like it smells like a Christmas party and I love it. I tried all the winter collection and this was my second favorite. I need a bigger one!
This is my absolute favorite December fragrance. I have tried a couple others in the same vein and always come back to Longest Night. It’s sweet, but not overly so, for my taste, with plenty of spice. Something in the base notes -maybe the frankincense?- has a warm, calming effect on me. I find the finish has a dash of freshness, like throwing open the window on a cold day.
Another amazing winter scent that reminds me of all the holiday goodness. Sitting by the fireplace, drinking spiced wine, and having a wonderful time.
Trust me and try this one. So good.
I've been trying a variety of little samplers from this company to see if I like any of them. I was hesitant to get this sample probably for the same reason other people were in that I worried it would be too sweet. But I really enjoy it. It reminds me of hot tea with honey and cinnamon on a cold night.
Two things that made it four stars instead of five: these tiny little samplers are so hard to get the right amount of perfume out of in order to try it. So I either get too little or end up spilling the whole thing which sucks because I wanted to try it longer. Also, the writing is so tiny that I have to take a picture of it and zoom in in order to see what scent it is. I'm trying so I know which ones I like. $11 for this little thing, just a couple of improvements are really needed.
The cinnamon smell is really strong at first but it calms down quickly and then you can really smell the sugar plums. I'll be honest, I bought it because the description said sugar plums and I was immediately sold lol. It is a little outside my usual comfort zone in perfumes but I'm so glad I took the plunge. It really is true that the smell changes after a few weeks to let it settle. I love it more and more as time goes on and will definitely buy it again when I run out. It's my new winter perfume.
This smells so good! I wasn't really looking for a new scent but I came across this one and saw the description that says sugar plums. I was sold. When you first spray it, it is very strongly cinnamon but it sweetens up as it dries down. I sprayed it on my shirt a few days ago and I can still smell it and it smells like Christmas day. This is definitely my new winter scent!
Ordered the EDP and on the wet the sugar plum smell (think dots candies) and the cinnamon was strongest. The sweetness from the sugar plums made the cinnamon smell like the hot tamale candies. The dry down is fantastic and so far has lasted about 12 hours. It reminds me of their Cream Tea fragrance but spicy. So if you enjoyed Cream Tea you may want to give Longest Night a try.
This is my favorite scent. How I discovered this is because I spilled a dram all over my clothes, and had an almost euphoric feeling when inhaling it. I literally ordered the 10ml roll on immediately after. I feel like now, I'm just going to be chasing this smell for the rest of my days.
This scent is (unbelievably) exact as it’s described and it’s freakin DEELISHUS. I srsly want to eat myself! It’s fruity in a sophisticated red wine way, and spicy in a gingerbread cookie kind of way. It’s a grown up “yum” scent!
