Listen. I have enjoyed many Sucrebeille scents, but THIS. THIS IS THE ONE. I have loved Night Vale since the very beginning. I have seen them live twice, I've listened to episodes while driving through the dark California desert. I have the TTRPG in all its glory. All this to say, I am a fan.
How did you guys do this? This is what the desert other world smells like. This is how Huntokar smells. What secrets did you uncover from behind the Ralph's to bring this scent into being? I smell like a mossy ruins in an inexplicable temperate forest deep in the desert. What did you do? This is just how I smell now. A mossy, sandstone-y unknowable thing. I smell fantastic.
I wasn’t sure about this scent when I first put it on…it smelled too sharp, and it confused me because it was both new and oddly familiar. I fell in love with Night Vale in the exact same way so, to be surprised now is to be fearful of the faceless old woman who lives in my home. It’s a fool’s errand. (Also, why does it remind me of my grandma’s house in her home country 😭)
Picture this: You're standing in a red rock desert just after sunset, the sky now clear after a brief desert rainstorm earlier in the day. It's early fall, and you're surrounded by sagebrush and bristlecone pine trees. There's the slightest chill in the air as you look up at the stars. Imagine how the air would smell in that exact moment, and that's what Mostly Void, Partially Stars smells like. I bought this perfume because I've been a Night Vale fan for thirteen years now, and I'm happy to say I fell in love instantly with the scent and will absolutely keep this in my regular rotation for as long as Sucreabeille sells it!
As a WTNV fan I had to try this scent even though I am not one to wear something like it usually. Definitely has a very medicinal-menthol-bug spray vibe to it on me at first, with a sweet dry sage forward scent on the dry down. Reminds me of camping on a hot summers night.
Not something i'm often likely to reach for in a perfume, but definitely worth trying.
This is the second time Sucrrabeille has managed to distill one of my favorite podcasts into the perfect scent! After falling in love with the warm, dark “Jon & Martin” scent from The Magnus Archives collection, I decided to give “Mostly Void, Partially Stars” inspired by WTNV a try. So different, yet so perfect: It’s herby and a little smoky while also quite bright. Definitely going to order the full bottle now. Thanks for making such amazing and unique scents!
I bought this as a long time WTNV listener, and I love the smell. On me it smells pretty strong, but it's a beautiful outdoorsy smell, it makes me think of walking through a windy desert.
I bought this just because I’m a WTNV fan, and I love it! It’s strange, but in a pleasant way, smoky and mossy, and softens as the day goes on. I feel like a desert witch wearing it and that’s definitely a positive!
I’m new to perfume, currently on my signature scent journey, and my feed brought Mostly Void, Partially Stars straight to me! As a longtime WTNV fan and certified desert rat, I knew I had to try this. Someone likened it to Icy Hot and I agree when it’s initially sprayed onto my skin, but through the day it gets sweeter and deeper, like being in the middle of nowhere in the dead of night. Needless to say, I’m obsessed with Sucrabeille and this scent!
I have been Obsessed with WTNV for at least the last 13 years, and for this scent to just perfectly capture that tiny desert community is incredible, my goodness. I wish I got the full size!
Love this scent! I bought it more because I am a dedicated WTNV fan and I was interested in the scents, and I'm happy to say that this will definitely become a regular in my scent repertoire. I have a soft spot for the American Southwestern deserts. This fragrance is sweet and earthy, with the hit of thyme almost giving a mint-cool sensation that feels like the desert breeze at night. No regrets about buying the full sized bottle, the engraving is gorgeous and I think this scent is super unique. Have not come across another fragrance like it!
This scent is so refreshing the way the desert is after a rain. And as comforting as pondering the vastness of the universe while you are safe on the bare earth of the open desert.
I hope Mostly Void, Partially Stars sticks around FOREVER! I’ve been desperately searching for a new signature scent since my previous favorite perfume was discontinued. Nothing hit right until MVPS. It is the absolute perfect profile for Night Vale.

Really excited to try this WTNV collab. The bottle design is beautiful, the instructions on letting the scent rest after transit were helpful, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it has settled when I try it again tomorrow. Lovely scent - very Night Vale.
I believe I got this review mixed up with my one for Ex Altiora, whoops. I enjoy both a lot, and I was also very surprised at the samples I was given🩵 Peach became a quick favorite for the end of summer, and I Want To Be Invited But I Don't want to Go pairs nicely with other scents I have.
I did have to be patient, as the heat wave didn't do the scents any favors, but waiting a bit while keeping the perfumes in a cool and dark place was worth it.
Mostly Void, Partially Stars is pretty much a carrier oil.witj eucalyptus in it. It smells like an elderly person covered in Tiger Balm. The idea, I'm sure, as with most products, is to capitalize on ego. Shoppers who think they're cool because they "smell like a poscast" will keep spending too much money to feel good about themselves, even if they could just put eucalyptus oil into a carrier oil themselves for far less.
Notes of the fragrance weren’t as described. An email was sent to customer service to discuss the possibility of a return. No return email was ever received.

wasn't sure what to expect but its a perfect smokey scent. masculine leaning and I get tons of compliments on it daily! please never discountinue this collab it may be my new signature
The perfume is exactly what it says on the tin; a bit astringent, if you're expecting something softer, but it definitely smells like What If The Desert Was Actually As Empty As Everyone Thinks It Is (a real desert has a lot of biodiversity and smells a lot warmer and more lively). Still, it perfectly suits the vibe, especially if I'm running a game of Deadlands: The Weird West. Would recommend, if you like that sort of thing.
So first off, the pin and bonus scent oil are great. 10/10
This Night Vale scent however is amazing. It smells exactly like what I wanted. The sage notes are very prominent and give such a good aroma. Hard to describe but it's like if a marine scent were not marine. Like post-ocean. There's a tiny bit of what if it were more /blue/ would smell like sea salt and driftwood but in this mix it combines with the herbal notes to smell like you walked into a desert witches house at night. Smells like the nights I spent in New Mexico and Arizona. Lights in the sky that may or may not be stars, bats that are probably bats, and the loping things that move just at the edge of your vision beyond the campfire and in and out of the scrublands and sand wastes. 10/10 will order again as soon as this runs out which may be sooner than I'd like.
I bought this as a fan of Welcome to Nightvale. The bottle is beautiful and the shipping was quick. I am not a fan of the scent but that's fine, I knew it was a probability. Overall great experience.
definitely my new signature scent, i adore this! i'm very sensitive to smells and this one is just... it's so perfect for me, not too strong, nice and herby with a flash ot brightness. definitely buying more!
this perfume is BEAUTIFUL. I know I need to let it rest since it just got here, but right out of the bottle it's so crisp yet warm? and slightly sweet. and just delightful, it totally fits a desert night. it came with a bunch of freebies, stickers, perfume oil, and a pin!! I'd buy this again and will shop here again, awesome experience overall
Oof. I love WtNV. The scent description sounded amazing! What I got is an overpoweringly green smell which comes off incredibly soapy and just... I can't.
The scent is cold, smoky and strange but in the best way. Pleasantly present but unobtrusive. The bottle is beautiful and they fill it right to the top. It's a nice scent to fall asleep with too because it's cooling (or maybe that's just my synesthesia).
