  • Product Description

We’ve all heard of tarot decks, palm reading, runes, and various other ways of telling the future. But have you ever heard of tyromancy? It’s the practice of using cheese to divine the future. Allegedly starting in Ancient Greece, fortune tellers used cheese to predict future events. There’s a multitude of ways to use cheese to predict your fate, often coming down to particular characteristics of whatever cheese is being used: How many holes are in the cheese? What’s the texture? Are there any shapes or symbols clearly shown in the cheese? Alternately, if presented with a variety of cheese options, whatever cheese you chose was a symbol of your future prospects. The power of cheese is amazing. Next time you’re searching for some answers, we recommend you give tyromancy a try. At the very least, you know your immediate future will contain eating some delicious cheese.

Scent Notes: Milk and sparkling amber, cumin CO2, bitter almond, white musk.

This is a nice combo of lactonic notes, with a nice touch of amber, and white musk ties it all together. I love it, which was unexpected!

Love this one and I learned about tyromancy which was a thing I didn’t know. Divination through cheese sounds fun. I get savory and a bit of sweetness. Something in it reminds me of fresh pencil shavings. It’s delightful.

I've been thinking about this scent since it debuted a while back, and kept convincing myself that I wouldn't like it. Now, I love me an unusual note combination but was afraid this might lean too gourmand. I finally decided to try a sample, and I'm glad I did! I was not amused with it fresh out of the box, but after a week's rest...it's really good. On my skin, I get the combination of sweet and savory like another reviewer said. The sweet isn't dessert-like though, it's more akin to the light and sweet flavor that lingers on your tongue after eating a well-aged but mild cheese. I'm sad I waited until right before Tyromancy retired to try it, but next time it pops up I'll be getting a larger size.
