Scent Notes: Spanish coffee, bitter caramel, lavender syrup, soft amber, spice

This was Day 7 in our Halloween Advent Calendar. 

Coffee. A beverage that speaks to the soul. Tells the heart to beat a little faster, the brain to start paying attention. You've got the beans, and you grind them, and there's water boiling on the stove and you, of course! have your special cup. It's in the pungent smell, in the rich notes that float to you when you brew, the ritual of making your morning cup, the "Ah haaa" of taking the first sip.... Wait. Wait a second... I think this might be… witchcraft? Hold up, we are doing witchcraft people!! Oh, it's all coming together now. In order to wake ourselves from the Zombie Land Sleep World, we must complete this ritual, drink the potion, see the fortunes in the grounds at the bottoms of our cups! Sadly (not sadly?) this spell always wears off and we must repeat it each and every day.
