Coffee. A beverage that speaks to the soul. Tells the heart to beat a little faster, the brain to start paying attention. You've got the beans, and you grind them, and there's water boiling on the stove and you, of course! have your special cup. It's in the pungent smell, in the rich notes that float to you when you brew, the ritual of making your morning cup, the "Ah haaa" of taking the first sip.... Wait. Wait a second... I think this might be… witchcraft? Hold up, we are doing witchcraft people!! Oh, it's all coming together now. In order to wake ourselves from the Zombie Land Sleep World, we must complete this ritual, drink the potion, see the fortunes in the grounds at the bottoms of our cups! Sadly (not sadly?) this spell always wears off and we must repeat it each and every day.

Note: Beth, who has blended some of our most popular fragrances, also has a scent named Crux in her shop, Overmorrow, though these scents are very different takes on. the same concept! This scent is amazing!!! It's nice strong coffee and caramel notes on me without being too sweet. Like a coffee hug. I definitely had to let it settle before using, but after that it was amazing. I'll be buying this one again if it comes back!!

The Wake The Dead is exactly the sweet, coffee based scent I was looking for! I always adore Sucreabeille and how long the scents last.

Oh. My. Goodness. That is all. I love this. Like truly truly love this. I was so excited when the Halloween advent scents were released. (A friend had purchased it and let me smell them.. I made notes of my favorites.) This is going to be going into rotation, and eventually I will get a larger container of it (I have a sample). But yes.

Wake the Dead was in the Halloween Advent calendar 2025. Coffee scents aren't my thing, but I love caramel. This scent is coffee and caramel, with a unique touch of lavender.

I love how with each tiny vial of samples I get, the notes are so individual and resonant. I get chocolate in the bottle, though it is touched with the burnt caramel, and once on my skin, it turns into bitter left-on-the-warming-plate-too-long coffee and a slightly singed lavender stem. Not a complaint, because that's just one stage of it along the way to settling into a lovely, comforting, warm and sweet coffee and it stays that way for the longest time. To my imagination, this speaks of a physics professor at the end of the day, settling back in his armchair to enjoy one last cup of black instant coffee.

I bought this one because Cup of Ambition isn’t available anymore. I like it enough to continue wearing it so as not to waste it but the coffee notes are not very strong at all. It’s got an almost spiced citrus smell. It doesn’t compare to Cup of Ambition and I would not buy it again.

Wake The Dead

This is one of my favorite scents from Sucreabeille. The coffee really makes it.
