If you’ve ever considered making your morning coffee with coffee instead of water, or you always keep a supply of energy drinks on-hand to make it through the day because why are the days SO LONG RIGHT NOW, you’ll appreciate the pure shots of adrenaline this scent represents. And yes, it’s certainly possible to poison yourself with caffeine, but also, two shots of espresso in your morning mocha just doesn’t cut it anymore. So, fellow caffeine addicts, rejoice at this scent designed specifically for you! Just don’t drink it. Seriously. Don’t. It’s not actually made of caffeine!

This one is not for me. I usually love coffee scents but for some reason this one is not good on me. It has a musty smell that reminds me of 80s hair perms.

I received a free 5 ml sample size perfume as a part of the Halloween 2022 Sale. This one is delightfully complex, and was so much fun to try and review! I wouldn’t have ever read this description and thought to order a larger size for myself. This is why I just love getting these 5 ml samplers! I’m able to explore scents outside of my comfort zone, and this is one I’m glad I did try. This scent packs a punch at first, but quickly mellows out to a tasty yet musky smelling work of art! Right out of the bottle, you definitely get hit with a strong whiff of a nice hot cup of coffee- it is very strong. But, just wait. There’s more to this than simply a coffee scented perfume! As it dries, that coffee dissipates into the background, and you get fragrant almost floral hints of black tea coming through accompanied by the spicy bite of the cassia in just the right amount. There are sweet, rich chocolate-y undertones from the mocha that are very subtle, but unmistakable, and give this scent its appetizing smell. The black oud shows up in the base as everything airs out; it is powdery/musky, soft, perfume-y goodness that carries and rounds out the whole combination well, and shores up the earlier scents to make this soft, and classic. I didn’t know just by reading the description how this combination would work. But now I see, and my goodness I wish this weren’t discontinued! This would be a scent that I would readily wear on date night as opposed, to say, work. It is definitely a gourmand, and is sensual, yet scrumptious. It is a very rich scent. I could see my hubby leaning in and giving me extra kisses on the neck just to get another smell of this.

Wow! This is such a unique scent! When you first apply, all you smell is lovely, strong mocha! So yummy! Then on dry down, the more smoky unisex scent of the black aud comes out, and has a sort of powdery, woodsy smell. I purchased the 10ml rollerball, but might have to get the full sized bottle! This is so different! I kept smelling this throughout the day. What's that? Oh, it's me!

I have never gotten a scent from Sucreabielle that smells like anything I've ever smelled in a perfume before. I don't know how they do it, but there's this super special DNA running through all their smells that makes even the ones with pretty normal notes so unique. Caffeine Poisoning is my favorite by far, but I knew it would be. When a designer perfume lists "coffee" as one of the notes, I never get it for more than a second. THIS is coffee. This smells like putting your face in a paper cup with 4 freshly pulled shots of espresso in it. It smells like the coolest hole in the wall coffee shop in town that's probably run by a witch. It's spicy and chocolatey and rich and I can't get enough of it. Sprayed it all over my couch so now my living room smells like a coffee shop.

I was looking for a scent like this when I bought Here's The Thing, which amps up the dirt smell on me. Caffeine Poisoning is the perfect, rich, delicious smell I was looking for and I'm hoping to see it come out of retirement so I can get the larger bottle.

I love this perfume. It smells of all things that are divine. And even when I’m at home by myself I am always wearing perfume. It’s so much fun to take the time and choose one. The perfume is slightly sweet and kinda like I’ve been hanging around in a coffeehouse (in the best way possible)
