Sure, the term was initially used disparagingly to denote people who don’t believe in a major religion, but times change. What’s wrong with being different, against the grain, a little weird and also fun at parties? The heathen friend is the one to instigate a good time while making you think and simultaneously laugh at the absurdity of existence and our day-to-day drudgeries. Let’s all embrace our inner heathen qualities and focus on making lives better for our fellow humans right now. No gods, no masters, only kindness and focusing on the now. And maybe some whiskey for good measure.

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the maple notes, but I love the way everything melds together in a savory, sweet, and smokey surprise that lasts a very long time. I put it on my wrist to test and it last well over 24 hours. EDP roller is what I received and I love it.

Nice sample size, but the scents were not what I expected. They smell like liquid incense rather than a perfume to wear on your person. Great for using as room sprays or in warmers to perfume your home, but not as a body spray.

What can I say about this scent that doesn't already speak for itself? Heathenly is the smell that you choose when you want to feel powerful. It's the smell you choose when you are going for your target directly.

I really wanted to like this one. By the scent notes I should have. But it smells really strongly of maple syrup, sweeter even than Papa's Waffles. Super cloying unfortunately.

This is the first 1 oz bottle I've gotten and I love this scent. It's alot like 'around the campfire' from scentsy. At first, when I put it on its "overwhelmingly coffee scented. Like I spilled coffee all over myself." My husband tells me. "But it warms up and smells really great on you." He says it's like I've dropped pancakes, maple syrup and coffee on myself next as it warms up. He says I smell truly heathenly. Like a breakfast heathen. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to sink in and smooth out. But once it has, it's divine. Sweet yet smoky.

Any scent with a sweet note (vanilla, tobacco, gourmand) will go uber sweet on my skin. I've been looking for a boozy, dark, gender neutral fragrance... And this is it! This was my first EDP (I usually get oils), and this lasts all day without being overpowering. It's rich and sexy, and makes my gender fluid heart happy!
