Daisy was nervous. She was hoping this would finally be “the night” with Colin. They hadn’t been together long, and she was overplanning every last detail: her outfit, her hair, her makeup, what she should make for dinner, the lighting, her bedding…. Every single thing was making her anxious. She changed her outfit about seven times before finally settling on something a little more comfortable and casual, like she wasn’t trying too hard. She brushed her hair, touched up her makeup, brushed her teeth, put on extra deodorant and a spritz of perfume, and tried to calm the butterflies in her stomach.
